1951 Marx, Mechanical Log Trailer Truck in Original Box
Superb pressed steel Log Trailer Truck by Marx with mechanically driven clockwork motor. Unused store stock complete with original box. Also includes its three original wooden logs packed in their factory bag. Blue (cab, chassis) and red (trailer, hitch pad) painted pressed steel polished front tin grille assembly and hood divider. Original copper finish log chain is attached to the trailer. Features split front windshield, extended front and rear fenders, embossed doors, and polished tin motor housing. Runs on six black wooden wheels. Clockwork motor with attached key works great! Original red and yellow box features two repeated illustrations on main panels. One shows a ¾ perspective view of the truck with the front cab surrounded by a "marketing" energy blast. The other two panels include a graphic shown from the side view.
